The pre-operative wards occupied before a delivery can be referred to as the Pregnancy Wards. The first stop is the admission ward (Safe Delivery Ward) located at the Ground floor of Hospital Building, where the patient can wait until the doctor visits and their condition is logged into a file. The beds in this ward are completely free of charge for up to 3 days.
The Fetal Medicine ward on the 5th floor is also used as a pre-operative ward, where the patients can have their service in secluded, curtained bed. There are four blocks in total, where 30 patients can stay at the same time. There are also a number of toilets and bathrooms dedicated to these blocks. There is also the New Ward at the Ground floor where affordable beds are available with quality care. Outdoor gynecology doctors and interns alongside the nurses and ward boys/girls are responsible for patient care for all of these wards.
